…about grafics
based on the ink-blowing technique, in which a thickly applied ink liquid is specifically blown, such patterns are created. these are then continued and changed by hand.
the motif originated in 1967 and was not considered by me for decades. until i was diagnosed with cancer of the oesophagus in 2021. a year earlier my wife was successfully treated for breast cancer and is, like me now, on the road to recovery – the cancer has been defeated for the time being!
warning:
some designs may offend
your religious or other sensibilities
after more than 50 years, I found the original ink drawings to be very strictly graphic.
so I changed and supplemented the basic motif with a new colour and painting technique each time. the motifs of cancer and the continuing abuse, especially in the catholic church, gave rise to some new motifs.
in the two triptychons (cancer + church) I have summarised these themes once again, giving them an even stronger message.
