…about assemblages
the beauty of used things accompanies me all my life. no matter which creative phase i was going through, there was never a reason to throw away any material or tools.
6 examples of my different assemblages are representative of the diversity of my work.
key-of-life
the keys of life flow permanently from the tap of life. the rusty traces are covered with the golden shards of the mirror.
nothing
nothing is not as expressive as diamonds on gold leaf in a metal frame. nothing means nothing…
red chair
nothing is old or damaged enough to design something new
outdoor
the door outside has been painted over and over again with my leftover colors and materials. over a long period of time a very lively work has been created.
sunflower
this assemblage was made from the many dried sunflower blossoms from my own cultivation. hardened with resin – a work for eternity. if one day there are no more sunflowers, my grandchildren will then ask questions about this picture.
bloodscrew
the screw of the railroad tracks that led to disaster
