root-art / frame 1

montages of mainly sunflower roots, which I have grown in my garden itself. after 3 years of drying and preparation, I have mounted them in old roof slat frames. each work of art has its own story and meaning. my aim was to show the hidden beauty of things that are not normally visible, because they are under the ground.
all works were created between 2017 and 2020 and are all unique.
